III - STANDARD
General appearance and characteristics of the breed

1- FORM
Trunk: elongated and rounded; cylindrical in shape just detected. In the hen well rounded and brought horizontal.
Head: medium size; not too wide; elongated.
Beak: large, slightly curved; color according to the variety.
Eyes: large and lively; red to dark brown iris.
Crest: simple and low; 4/6 regularly cut teeth; the lobe slightly follows the nape without touching it. In the straightest hen possible and moderately developed; slightly bent in the back allowed.
Bargigli: of medium length and fine texture.
Face: red with some small feathers.
Mumps: medium size; almond-shaped, white, light red border tolerated.
Neck: short, compact and carried forward; full and long cape.
Shoulders: wide and rounded.
Back: long and wide; does not shrink towards the rump.
Wings: large and wide; well tightened to the body.
Tail: large, fully developed; not too closed; forms an obtuse angle with the line of the back; numerous well-wide sickles; large, long, arched sickles.
Chest: wide, deep and well rounded.
Legs: short legs, hidden by the plumage. Short, visible tarsi. Color according to the variety

Bluish beak color, slate blue tarsi.
Serious defects:
Gallo: black flames that break through; strong yellow highlights; pronounced hemming in the chest and legs.
Hen: brown highlights; background color too light or too dark; massed or banded pepper; strong light edging in the feathers; a lot of rust in the wing coverts; chest color too light or mixed with gray.
