Origins and attitudes

Ponies originally from Vietnam (Hmong mountainous region). Of uncertain origins, it probably descends from horses of Mongolian origin (supply of Arab blood during the French domination). Resistant and safe, it is suitable for saddles and packs in mountain areas.

Morphological characters

Type: mesomorphic.
Coat: bay, gray and other types.
Height at the withers: about 120 cm.
Docile and calm character.
